I'm a queer gremlin with a bachelor's degree, a major in Communications (Digital Media concentration), and a minor in Writing. I'm an immigrant who moved from the US to the UK in 2019 to get married to a very skilled and lovely illustrator whom I met through fandom socializing on Tumblr. I'm in my late 30's, having grown up alongside the medium of video games since the late 80's, and have been actively playing games for 30+ years.

I've written in the past for one of the founding members of Easy Allies under the site 'Zentendo', which I also helped manage community forums for. I've also written in the past for GoNintendo, GameRevolution, Rock Paper Shotgun, Fanbyte, and GameRant, and in more recent years have done freelance work for Collaborate Agency. I have a long history of writing video game reviews and features dating back to the late 2000's.

I am a socially transgender person (they/she) who deeply cares about representation in pop culture and mass media, but in a way that focuses on the narrayive first and foremost. I'm also a big fan of animation as a medium for storytelling. While writing is where I have the most experience, my education entailed digital media production, which I also have a passion for -- video, audio, and image editing and creation. I'm always experimenting with different creative endeavors, including independent video game projects.

I've worked retail/customer service and support in the past for GameStop, FedEx, Staples, and Target, where I consistently excelled at providing relatable, courteous service with attention to detail. I've also done some official game testing on projects including Grand Theft Auto: Online and Season: A Letter to the Future (the latter of which I am listed in the credits by name). I also have a 'Special Thanks' credit in Freedom Planet 2.

I have a lot of nostalgia for early 2000's Internet culture, before the era of social media. But I also love the way modern technology has made it easier than ever for independent creators to make, share, and even earn a living from their work.
